Our classes are designed to be safe and beginner-friendly, no matter your fitness level. We gradually increase the intensity, so you build strength and confidence at a pace that feels right for you.
You don’t have to be in top shape to start—you’ll build fitness over time, with the support of experienced instructors.

While our programs do involve committing to a certain number of classes per week, we make it flexible by running classes six days a week.
This way, you can pick the times that work best for you, making it easier to fit martial arts training into your schedule. You’ll be able to build skills consistently without struggling to find time for classes.

CDA's Kickboxing classes focus on stand-up punching and kicking techniques from American kickboxing, Muay Thai, Savate and Taekwondo/Karate.
We can train you for competitions, fitness or just for the fun of it!
Our classes are suitable for all levels, and are a fun mix of pad drills, partner work and sparring!
Our Street Self Defence programme offers realistic and practical skills, tactics and strategies to keep you and your loved ones safe.
If you want to learn how to look after yourself and stay safe then this is the class for you.
Cardio K-Box is our kickboxing based fitness programme, fast paced, and high energy HIIT sessions to get you fighting fit. There is no contact other than on the pads, and it is a safe and fun place to train.
We are all about developing the martial arts skills of our students through fun and engaging drills and exercises. We focus more on sparring, grappling and stick work at this age as the likely need of the skills we teach them is increased.
We have a full grading syllabus, regular sparring sessions and good hard physical workouts.
These are our busiest classes and we have children that have been with us for years mixed with complete beginners.
We still play plenty of games to help develop core skills and the children work at their own pace building confidence and ability. Everything is handled in an age appropriate way, as we deal with subjects of bullying and self defence.
The children really have a great time and we are blown away by how quickly they learn and how skilled some of them are at this age, they are a joy to teach.
We work on balance, coordination, respect, listening, and of course lots of awesome ninja skills.
The classes are 30 mins and parents can join in with the little ones to help them find their way.
We see children massively grow in confidence in this class, and when they move up to the older class you can see a huge difference in their skills and abilities compared to the other children.

We are a family-friendly club (both of Lee's children train at CDA) that welcomes everyone regardless of fitness or experience.

We understand that you will have lots of questions, here are the answers to the most frequent
No not at all, we welcome beginners to all our martial arts, kickboxing and self defence sessions. We love having mixed abilities as it gives everyone the chance to learn from other students not only the instructors. We give everyone a warm welcome and are very patient so just get in touch and we can get you started on your martial arts journey.
For hygiene reasons we do try to limit lending equipment, that said we can sort you out a pair of gloves for the trial period if you don't mind using a 2nd hand pair. We also have a full pro shop where you can get kit at a very reasonable price. Kit or lack of will not hold you back coming for a trial, and once you become a member you can buy it bit by bit as you progress.
We teach proper martial arts whereby we spar and make contact with each other regularly. Getting bumps, knocks and hits is all part of the fun. That said, we make sure that people build up to this and are not put off by being hurt or scared, you can go at your own pace and everyone is very respectful of differing abilities, sizes and strength. So we will look after you and make sure your experience with us is enjoyable.
No is the simple answer. We want our students to stay with us for many years but the longest you are committed to is 1 month through a Direct Debit payment. If you want to leave at any point we just need 2 weeks notice.
We run sessions 6 days a week for Children's classes, Kickboxing, and Fitness Kickboxing, our Self Defence sessions run 4 days a week. Most of our classes are in the evenings and Saturday mornings, and we also have some classes weekday lunchtimes. Here is our full timetable.
